This project involved creating a new kitchen product for the British company Kenwood with a fellow student. Our target market was children aged 5-9 years old. The project continued from the 'Healthy & Wellbeing' interim ideas we had done earlier in the term but we realised that our ideas weren't appropriate for the Kenwood company.
After thorough aesthetic and branding research we decided to create a child’s hand-blender to fit into their current kMix range. The ‘my kMix’ blender fit perfectly with the existing hand-blender attachments, the aesthetics of the product matched the kMix range and the product was ergonomically appropriate for the target market.
